My Journey to the Monaco Yacht Show: Where Aviation Meets Yachting – 2024
Introduction
Attending the Monaco Yacht Show this year was an experience beyond words. As someone deeply passionate about aviation, I was thrilled to discover the remarkable overlap between the skies and the seas.
The event showcased not just the world’s most luxurious yachts but also highlighted how the aviation and yachting industries are intertwined through shared services and cutting-edge technologies.
I was fortunate to receive a pass from my client and dear friend, Paul Welch. His generosity made this unforgettable adventure possible. If you’re interested in luxury travel and industry insights, I highly recommend subscribing to his YouTube channel.
Walking through the marina, I was captivated by the stunning vessels on display. One yacht, in particular, left me speechless—it was so magnificent that I initially thought it was just a digital rendering. To my amazement, it existed in all its glory right before my eyes.
Among the incredible yachts, I had the pleasure of exploring offerings from Evadne Yachts. Their approach emphasizes strength, amenities, and space to maximize the quality of life at sea. With all-metal structures, their yachts ensure comfort and resilience even in rough waters.
The Evadne Team is dedicated to crafting yachts of the highest quality for discerning customers, aiming to establish themselves as a global brand in yacht construction.
But the show wasn’t just about yachts; it was a convergence of industries. Many people from the aviation sector attended, highlighting the significant overlap in services and products between aviation and yachting.
Companies like Dassault Aviation showcased their Falcon 6X, a testament to aviation excellence now making waves in the maritime world.

Beyond the yachts and exhibits, Monaco itself was a spectacle. I was thoroughly impressed with Café de Paris—what a spectacular place! The ambiance, the architecture, everything was just perfect.
The streets were lined with vintage cars and the latest supercars, a paradise for any car enthusiast. I even spotted my dream car, the beautiful Toyota HDJ100.
A highlight of my trip was dining at the Ceto Restaurant. I’ve never been more impressed with a restaurant in terms of both location and cuisine. It was, without a doubt, the best dining experience of my life.
My journey began with an unexpected stay in Nice. Luckily, I found a charming hotel, Hotel Les Vergers de Saint Paul. The location was amazing, and the breakfast was just what I needed to start my day.
Later, I stayed at the Columbus Hotel in Monte Carlo, conveniently close to the French border. It was a mere five-minute walk to catch an Uber or Bolt, making my travels around Monaco effortless.
