The best experience I’ve had at an Aviation Academy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Family oriented atmosphere. Positive vibes. Luxurious classrooms and offices.
The administration means what they say, and they say what they mean. No hidden agendas or costs at all. Actions speak louder than words, that’s what I’ve experienced.
Nice accommodation. They will soon, within no time, be the best academy.
Don’t hesitate to join them.
Based on my experience here are a few points why I will never recommend Flyence to anyone:
- Administrative Department is simply a mess. No clear instruction/ information on procedures for documents required, theory exams, student visa, medicals, English language proficiency test...etc. All these information are never explaining to you at once. You are always surprised by different requests and getting information from them bit by bit as you go.
- Megara Airport is by the sea and influenced a lot by the wind and surrounding mountains. This leads to delays on your scheduled flight or even cancellation.
- Megara airport is also a military air base and used very often for military training which has priority over your training flights. Therefore, more delays or cancellation.
- Flyence has many instructors in Megara, but unfortunately they are not on the same page/ aligned with schools' SOPs. As well, most of them have military background which experience-wise is good but not to deliver training or understanding students. I gave up on my PPL with them more than half-way through, due to Instructor's amateur guidance and feedback, which was not constructive and unprofessional.
- Instructors have their own way of teaching which can be confusing. Specially, when you are schedule with a different instructor and that person has a different way of flying or even SOPs bending.
- No proper Briefing provided before the flights and you always end up rushing from the room to the aircraft without even knowing what are you expected to execute when flying. Everything with Flyence in Megara is a constant rush due to allocated timing constriction to start-up the plane. If you arrive 3 hours earlier or 10 minutes before your scheduled flight there will be no difference, you will rush to the aircraft without briefing.
- Only positive points: Good aircrafts and Flexibility to schedule your flights.
- I usually do not regret about anything in life, but Flyence proved me otherwise.
My journey to Flyence didn't start with a simple decision. I explored flight schools across the US, Australia, and various parts of Europe. So, why did I choose Flyence in Greece? Firstly, Greece offers some of the best weather conditions for flying, which is crucial for consistent and uninterrupted training. Additionally, the economic aspect played a significant role in my decision. Flyence offered top-notch training at a more affordable cost compared to many other options I explored.
But it wasn't just the practical considerations that drew me to Flyence. Their fleet of training aircraft is simply stunning. From the moment I laid eyes on them, I knew I was in for a treat. Each aircraft is meticulously maintained and exudes a sense of confidence and reliability.
Moreover, Flyence boasts an Airbus A320 flight simulator, adding a whole new dimension to the training experience. The simulator is a game-changer for instrument training and procedural flight scenarios, providing an incredibly realistic environment to hone one's skills. It's an invaluable resource that sets Flyence apart from other flight schools.
Before committing to Flyence, I highly recommend taking a test flight. It's not just about getting a feel for the aircraft; it's about experiencing firsthand the professionalism and expertise that defines Flyence. Trust me, it's a confidence booster like no other.
As an international student, finding comfortable accommodation during ground school was a priority for me. Flyence exceeded my expectations in this regard. The accommodation provided was not only convenient but also created a conducive environment for focused learning.
Moreover, during my visit to the Megara facilities, I was pleased to find it equally comfortable and welcoming. Knowing that I'll be staying there for the next phase of my training gives me added confidence and peace of mind.
Flyence is not just about facilities; it's about the people. The instructors here are simply excellent. They're not just highly experienced military and commercial pilots, they're also genuinely passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping each student reach their full potential. Their dedication and expertise make all the difference in the world.
Throughout my journey at Flyence, the management team has been incredibly supportive. They've been there for me every step of the way, offering guidance and assistance whenever needed. It's clear that they're genuinely invested in the success and well-being of each student.
Overall, my experience at Flyence has been positive and enriching. From the well-organized training programs to the supportive environment, everything has contributed to my growth as a pilot. If you're serious about becoming a pilot, Flyence is where you want to be.
