Product Description
Airports Going Green (AGG), spearheaded by the Chicago Department of Aviation and co-hosted by AAAE, stands as the premier forum on sustainability within the aviation industry. Since its inception, AGG has garnered international acclaim from airports, airlines, industry groups, and government bodies worldwide. Each year, conference participants engage in essential dialogues with airport business partners, government officials, and high-level speakers globally.
The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) extends an invitation to AGG attendees to join a specialized pre-conference workshop focused on crafting and implementing an Airport Electrification Policy. This workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. CST. While there is no additional fee to attend, due to limited availability, participants are required to register in advance.
With a commitment to gathering insights from international airport stakeholders to further sustainable practices, this workshop aims to review the CDA’s draft Electrification Policy. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss industry experiences, including best practices, challenges, and lessons learned. Registered participants will receive the draft policy document before the workshop to facilitate a productive feedback session.
