a week agoHi I wanted to share my experience during my recent stay at hotel. While the overall quality of the accommodations and service was commendable, I encountered a few policies at check-in that left me concerned and confused. Firstly, I was informed that a $500 deposit is required to access the mini-bar. If the deposit is not paid, the fridge and mini-bar are secured with a large lock, rendering the refrigerator entirely unusable. As someone who values the convenience of a fridge for personal items (even without using the mini-bar), this policy felt restrictive. Additionally, I was charged a non-refundable fee of $57 at check-in. While I understand administrative fees are common, combining this with the mandatory mini-bar deposit policy felt excessive, especially since neither charge contributes to the guest experience. Paying significant upfront fees for amenities that remain inaccessible (or are not used) seems counterintuitive to hospitality standards. Many travelers, myself included, would prefer transparent policies that balance operational needs with guest comfort.

3 months agoI think it was a BEAUTIFUL hotel. The lobby is absolutely GORGEOUS and luxurious. The room we got was absolutely huge. It was much cheaper than expected as well. Granted we got a jacuzzi suite with a view. But the bathroom was huge, AND THERE WAS TWO!! The living room was so big you could most definitely have friends over for longer stays. They even decorated the room beautifully for our mini honeymoon stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Istanbul. (I do think they could update furniture a bit. It seemed somewhat old. And I think room service was not very good quality. But the stay was so nice I really cannot give less than 5 stars)

a month agoThe rooms are big , but not updated. They have very old carpets. The service is good but all closes at 11h pm The location, for me , was not good as there is nothing around really than expensive tourist traps. Taxi to old town takes an hour do to traffic. The hotel prices at the bar are similar to Miami or NY , no sense at all. I will not go back

a month agoPerfect stay in İstanbul to me while the winter season. Functional room, great city view. Gym & bath facilities are really nice. Limited choices of breakfast but tasty. Professional staff for both check in & out. Prime location in the Taksim area and a few footsteps to many sightseeing places. Would be back if i have a chance to visit İstanbul again :))
