a week agoCons: 1. Noisy hotel, one side faces a busy street. On Friday and on the weekends you hear very loud music from a night club. It went on until 2 to 3am. You can't sleep essentially, the hotel is not sound proof. You will need ear plugs. 2. Room service choices are expensive, and the food is below average. Their pasta for example is undercooked and hard. 3. No coffee machine, only a kettle. 4. Breakfast is pricey, 30 euros per person. Pros: 1. Complimentary water which is a kind gesture. 2. Location is good, it is close to the metro and buses. 3. Size of some of the rooms is generous. 4. The lobby is pretty.

3 weeks agoOne of the oldest yet luxurious hotels in Istanbul close to the Taksim area. The hotel is massive with many rooms across many floors, many on-sight restaurants, a large gym, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, and a lovely lobby. There are some service stores outside the hotel. In terms of rooms, they are spacious, and have a nostalgia taste to them. And despite furniture being quite old, it is very well maintained. Some rooms have great views to the city. They have a seating area at the roof-top with lovely views to the city.

2 months agoOne of my favorite hotels in beautiful Istanbul.🇹🇷 The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The outdoor pool is wonderful. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The most important thing is the wonderful treatment by the staff, especially Mr. Muhammad at the reception, Mr. Ahmed, 🇱🇧🇨🇵 and everyone without exception. The security is very excellent. Thank you all. 🇸🇦❤️

a week agoOn November 24, I stayed at the InterContinental Istanbul, an IHG hotel. The hotel is very wonderful. The service is excellent, the rooms are stunning, and there is excellent housekeeping. In addition, the service lounge serves a wide range of exquisite cuisine and beverages. Special thanks to the hotel's general manager, Ms. Victoria, for everything she has done, and I will definitely visit the hotel again in the future.

3 months agoI had a pleasant stay at the hotel, the location is very good, the hotel is clean, the breakfast buffet is amazing! A lot of choices with very high quality of food and hygiene. The waiters in the breakfast were very helpful and professional! They brought my toddler some coloring book, they helped me with getting us breakfast. However, we had an incident that I wish the hotel management will look at. We were asked twice to pay 50$ for the mini bar when we checked out (twice) though we did not consume anything from the mini bar! The second time we checked out, the receptionist have asked us to pay 50$, we said that we didn’t consume anything, he checked with housekeeping, than he said yes correct nothing to pay! Should the reception first check with the housekeeping? Why reception twice asked us for 50$ directly? Thank we took a taxi to the airport and we were on hurry! After 7min drive the hotel called the taxi and told him to bring us urgently to the hotel… we asked the taxi why but he didn’t speak English… we thought that maybe we forgot something very important such as a passport, but we checked out belonging and everything was fine. We have asked the taxi to continue driving to the airport since we were late for our plane! The taxi refused and drove us to the hotel because the hotel called back and insisted! We felt like hostages!!! When we went back to the hotel another receptionist said that we need to pay 50$ for the mini bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a frustration! At that time we just wanted to call the police! First we didn’t consume anything, second we have made the checkout procedures already! So even if the client didn’t pay it’s the receptionist fault for not checking! You can’t bring people back from the middle of the road like hostages! We were very angry… We had to catch that plane otherwise I would make a big deal of it… and if we missed our plane it would be the hotel’s fault. Honestly I was very disappointed! And thinking of never returning back!
