2 months agoGreat option for single engine stuff. I would not recommend for multi related training. I did get it done but planes were down for maintenance quite often.

2 years agoThe staff couldn't have been friendlier to a little boy and his Pop Pop. They showed a nice observation area with picnic tables and we saw lots of landings and take-offs. Update Dec. 2021: Still friendly! No take-offs or landings, but we saw a plane being washed, an aircraft engine being serviced, and a Medevac helicopter.

2 years agoAmazing! Simply incredible! My husband and I took my son on his first Discovery Flight! He has wanted to become a pilot for many years now and this was our birthday gift to him! The staff was incredible and the instructor was so sweet and knowledgeable answering every question my son had (and being who he is, that is a LOT of questions!) When they got in the air he let my son take the controls and it was an experience he will never forget! Thank you so much for giving him his wings guys!!! The kid hasn't stopped smiling or talking about it since!!

a year agoI highly recommend this flight school. I just started my instrument training at HOVA and so far everything has been great. My CFI Nick is extremely knowledgeable and competent. Savannah and the front desk staff is always kind and accommodating. I drive past two other airports from Manassas to come to HOVA and the quality of the school is worth the long drive.

3 years agoStarted renting here because this was the only spot around that rented light sport aircraft, and they maintain a healthy fleet of Tecnam P92 Eaglets and two P2002 Sierras. The friendly staff and great aircraft makes the long drive to get here well worth it, as I live over an hour drive away. Although one potential negative is that all scheduling is done over the phone vs. electronic booking system like most other flight schools you see, but I never had an issue with it. Overall would gladly recommend this place for training/renting!
