The guards at the gates made our trip to explore the university kind of unwelcoming (sign of the times I guess, maybe to protect the next generation)but here's some cool statues. Hopefully one day our youth can learn in peace

Terrible experience! My advisor was terrible and he’s the reason I’m no longer attending, I was going for my degree in aviation management online. I’ve never had any conversations with him and he was terrible at responding to emails. I constantly hit him up for the pin to register for classes and all of a sudden I was somehow unenrolled for school with no explanation. How I go from being on the deans list to getting a letter saying I need to apply all over again because I didn’t register for any classes, this is unacceptable. I’m now trying to go to another school and Hampton won’t release my transcript due to a financial hold that I have because of them. Thanks Kevin Marrow and Hampton for such a great experience

If you have been to one HBCU, then you have been to them all. Teachers are fine...admin staff, financial folks, caf workers, etc, HORRIBLE. Bad attitudes, no smiles, grumpy.

The chapel on HU is still beautiful. The reception ballroom at McGrew Towers was nice even though the building is one of the oldest on HU's campus.

The experience going to school here was an honor and a privilege. But I had a few rough patches too. It’s been 13 years and I still remember the dean of business throwing a Wall Street newspaper at me because I wasn’t familiar with it. He was pathetic as a human being and his professionalism was worse than a second grader my regret was not reporting him. Other than that I respected my time at Hampton University, thank you for the opportunity.
