a year agoI was told about Mesquite Aviation by a coworker of mine who heard I was trying to go to flight school. I came in out of the blue today cause i was in the area and wanted to see about their flight school. Chip was really busy but took time out of his day to explain the program and costs. They also had a student cancle his flight time, so Chip said i could have that time slot if i wanted it. Naturally i took it. I am glad i did. Ethan was my instructor and was very patient with me and understanding (i have a slight fear of turbulence, and it was a bumpy ride). Ethan showed me how the plane handled in the rough air. So much was accomplished in 1 hr on no notice. I thought it was very rewarding. Can only imagine how much will get accomplished next time when it is a scheduled appointment.

3 years agoI had a discover flight with Rachel. She did a wonderful job explaining things before flying and even when we were in the air. I absolutely enjoyed my time. I highly recommend Rachel as your instructor!

4 years agoJust landed from a flight with Mesquite Aviation's Cessna 172N 8GJ. Flight was incredible, the aircraft was well maintained and the staff were extremely friendly. Tim got us in an aircraft within minutes without any wait. The airport is not busy and the tower was very accommodating. Mesquite Aviation's aircrafts come with 2 laminated checklists which made it very easy to use and follow as a right seater Pilot. I was very happy with the aircraft's condition and the avionics. The aircrafts do not have ADS-B in so you need to have a way of collecting traffic information from a different source ( Stratus/Sentry etc). I extremely recommend Mesquite Aviation's for your next aircraft rental.
