Highly recommend! I got my instrument rating through Hub City and had an incredible experience through the entire process. They were especially accommodating with the schedule and tailored rides towards my needs. Sam was my main instructor and definitely knew what he was talking about, and all the instructors were always willing to help out whenever I had popup questions. Great community for any experience level, check them out!
Friendly staff and knowledgeable CFIs. Willing to help you through. I got my private done in 10 weeks at 37 hours. I drove an hour and 15 minutes multiple times a week just to train here. Plenty of aircraft and instructors. Thanks to the whole team and special shout-out to Jett!
10/10 Owner and all instructors are extremely knowledgeable with tons of experience, 2 in house evaluators. Will work around your schedule and make sure you have a tailored lesson plan. wide range of aircraft to chose. I drive 2 hrs atleast 2 times a week just to fly here
My first impression was the score they seem to be honorable and legit but my experience is that another see another side of the school.
The instructor was OK until I request a refund was promise more than three weeks ago but it was on its way now. I'm getting a runaround by the school.
I had to relocate for work I put money down on the account so that I'll be able to fly without delay I was sent to another location for work and request a full refund I was told by will (chief flight instructor or of hub city aviation) was told that the check was mailed out I received a recent statement confirming that it was refunded but yet I have not received a check from hub city aviation. I was sent a false record stating that it was done when it has not yet been done. So I contact them on three different occasions and Was given me the same excuse that was mailed out and on few times they're on able to get a hold of the owner, who said he sent it out I have not yet reach the owner of this company to confirm any of this.
I feel this is very unprofessional for a school to treat students the way they do, and I would like to see action to be taken to correct the issue.
It is going on three weeks now and I have not yet received the check and keep getting a runaround from the office, was told at 5:00 PM on the 25th July that the owner will be calling me within the hour to explain to me why i have not yet sent out the check which doesn't make a lot of sense to me when it was promised three weeks ago the crack was in the mail.
This is the first step, my next step will be the FAA in the Better Business Bureau and any other review platform so I can find to make sure all people understand this company don't care about their students and I refuse to Honor there promises.
My suggestion is find another flight school that is more honorable and that will treat their students the proper way and with respect That we. Deserve and that will fill a promise that is given. And i don't write reviews but this is the case of $197 that was promised to be sent to me by check not a lot of money but still shows the quality of a company when I can't even get a refund that little amount from a flight school.
Had reserved an instructed flying time for my husband one month prior to our 10 year Anniversary. I was surprising him with this as a gift on our actually Anniversary. I called Hub City the day prior to our reserved time to confirm all was still set. I was assured it was. We show up for my husband's surprise gift to find out there is no instructor to take him flying. The owner was away on vacation so the concerned young man who was working call the owner to see how to resolve this issue. No effort on the owner's behalf to make this right for us!! Needless to say, I asked for my money to be refunded as we have no confidence or reassurance that this wouldn't happen again in the future if we were to reschedule. Such a frustrating and disappointing experience.
