6 years agoAlways a reliable friendly stop for fuel when trekking across West Texas. Decent amenities, clean FBO, open late if those West Texas winds are stronger than expected and it takes longer to get there.

9 months agoProfessionally run FBO with great facilities. Also a top notch maintenance and avionics shop. Ramp folks are friendly and attentive. If you're on a budget, self serve 100LL pricing is always reasonable for a larger commercial airport. If you're looking for a good fuel or overnight stop, this would be a good choice.

6 years agoVery friendly FBO. They have a very relaxing pilot lounge and good coffee n snacks.

4 years agoThis is a really nice, full service FBO. Every person I've dealt with is friendly, professional, and provided good service. I travel there frequently for business. I feel like my 182 & I are treated just like a King Air or Gulfstream, red carpet at the cabin door and everything. On one trip, my vacuum pump failed, it was VFR, so not a huge deal, but needed to be fixed before returning home IFR. I was introduced to the maintenance manager, who fit me in, replaced the pump while I worked and has us on our way on schedule. It was not a big thing at all. Sometimes it sucks to only have one FBO choice at a field, but ABI has a winner here.

6 years agoWell equipped FBO with highly professional and courteous staff. The pilot lounge was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which was just what I needed when I was stranded overnight due to a storm. I can say without a doubt that I'm looking forward to returning to Abilene Aero in the future, and I highly recommend other GA pilots to stop by there and check them out.
