Due to an auto accident, she spent the entire vacation plus a few days in the hospital on St Thomas, USVI. When the Air Ambulance 1 crew arrived, it was as if the military had taken over; absolute goal with absolute professionalism, determination and efficiency. She was comfortable from the moment they took control thru the transfer to the facility in Texas. If an air ambulance service is needed, this is the one.

My father would not be alive today if it were not for Air Ambulance 1. The Air Ambulance 1 team is extremely professional, prompt, responsive, and knowledgeable. My father's hometown medical team in South Texas had essentially given up, so my family and I decided that we had to move him to Houston if he were going to have any chance of survival. We had never used an air ambulance service before and called 8 different companies that had strong reviews and ratings online to get quotes. We were blown away by the Air Ambulance 1 team. There was no comparison. Not only were they consummate professionals in terms of transporting my father safely and with stellar medical expertise, but they also actually cared about my father and the stress all of us were under. They were comforting and patient with us. They took time to answer all of our questions, keep us abreast of the flight progress, landing, arrival at Houston hospital, etc. They were also competitively priced and offered an excellent value for the high quality of service and attention they offered. Director Ronen Wachman was an absolute pleasure to work with. I have been recommending this company to all of my friends and family, and if--God forbid--we are ever in a dire situation like this again, I would absolutely use Air Ambulance 1 again.

They were great. Made the process very easy and whatever issues came up they were able to handle. They were able to move the patient very fast, we are talking Africa to Miami. I am very glad I picked them. I highly recommend them.

We had to have my dad flown from Kansas to Houston a little over a year ago. It was an emergency situation, so we didn't have a lot of time to research companies but chose Air Ambulance 1. The ONLY reason they are getting 2 stars is because the actual flight was good. Everything went smooth and my dad was well taken care of. Now, the bad. First, we had to pay every penny UP Front. Even though dad was covered by Medicare plus supplemental insurance. It was a fiasco for them to get the payment method correct plus they charged us over $300.00 for paying with a debit card. My dad passed not long after and we discovered that Air Ambulance 1 also filed with Medicare to get paid for the flight that we Already paid 100% for. Between dealing with Medicare and AA1 we've finally been told by AA1 that we will be refunded what Medicare paid them. Now is the really screwed part. They are charging us $750.00 to refund us the overpayment! Apparently, it's in the contract we originally signed to have dad flown here. Of course, as I said, it was an emergency situation, so we didn't read every line of the contract. So AA1 gets to basically screw us out of $750.00. Their customer service isn't great either. My wife has spoken to several reps there and while some have been nice, others have been flat out rude. I called today and the rep I spoke with was nice and while he agreed that being charged $750 wasn't right, he couldn't do anything about it. The email about the fee came from Albert Ohayon VP Business Director / Coordinator Of course, there's no way to contact him, he hides behind the customer service reps instead. Just be warned, if you use AA1 you may get screwed out of $$$
