After contacting CCAC regarding their flight program, I was directed to PFTC for flight training. Despite numerous emails, phone calls, and social media messages beginning after Thanksgiving, I have yet to receive any response from PFTC. My Facebook messages were read, and I left voicemails, yet there has been no communication.
I reached out to the program administrator at CCAC, who recommended High Flight Academy. They were extremely helpful and also directed me to Pittsburgh Pilot Training. The owner of Pittsburgh Pilot Training contacted me within 20 minutes, walked me through the enrollment process, and I am now scheduled to begin flight training with them at the end of the month.
Based on my experience, I would advise others to reconsider contacting PFTC due to their lack of effort around communication. Even though my program has changed from 141 to 61, I am looking forward to starting this journey. If reaching someone to enroll is this challenging, I cannot imagine trying to schedule flight time. For prospective students, I highly recommend contacting Pittsburgh Pilot Training to avoid wasting time with PFTC.
