Me and wife went in for the Discovery Flight, which is flying in the pilot seat with the instructor besides me, and me having a 0.00 experience prior, both practical and theoretical. Heskel is an amazing person and the kind of instructor everybody wants to meet first in their journey of becoming a piloit. He tells you only the required information like about the plane, about the terrain you will fly etc. He has a good sense of humour, keeps cracking jokes as he explains or flies with you. He's like an old and wise martial arts teacher in a movie waiting to be found by the worthy ones. You don't wanna miss a person like him in your flight journey. He explains about the controls and also makes you do small tasks like starting the engine, or switching some buttons from the plane's dashboard. I flew on the 2000 Cessna 172S and the entire experience with Heskel has put me in the right track for learning more.
Have you ever wanted to fly an airplane? If so, you owe it to yourself to try. If you decide to pursue your pilot certificate with Harrisburg Pilots, you will have access to a friendly, highly knowledgeable flight instructor, with a good sense of humor, who is committed to your safety and success. Flight school gatherings allow you to meet other pilots, controllers, FBO staff, and others that you will encounter during your training. The aircraft you will fly are clean and well-maintained, both mechanically and aesthetically. I highly recommend Harrisburg Pilots to anyone interested in learning to fly.
I have been training with Heskel Burnstein since January 2016.
His knowledge, sense of humor, and patience is a GOD send.
I can't imagine a better instructor or place to learn to fly.
It's a big advantage getting to train in class D airspace.. lots of radio communication experience with the great people in ATC and ground control.

Really great organization. They take you past your license and show you how to have fun flying on trips that include NYC and the Hudson, flying into the National Air and Space Museum, and tours of control towers and much more. Perfect for pilots who are always learning! Thanks.
If you want to find a school that know how to values your time well, do not go here. I wasted more than $1K while not being able to schedule at my convenient time.
