4 months agoI was attending here a few years ago and almost completing the program the owner tried to cancel my visa and have me deported after all that hard work. Little did he know I was already working on my residency and citizenship paperwork but the owner Gus failed miserably. If I was an international student all over again I would look elsewhere. It’s not worth the stress and shady business from the owner in my opinion.

a year agoAbsolutely professorial experience. I have been to several flight schools. RJ you know your stuff. I see some shady reviews in here that are likely from another local school using shady business tactics recommending gateway aviation. My experience with them was short, because they were snarky. Trying to sell me something I didn't need, furthermore gateway is not a VA appoved school. They like to parade piper 180s like they're candy because they have glass cockpits. Ace pilot school is honest and trustworthy, and maintains their training planes up to standards. IF your really pursuing flight, you can trust the instructors here. It is pleasure to do business with you.

7 years agoThe owner - Gus is an absolute Jackwagon ! Aside from lacking the most basic people skills, he is most interested in telling you what you cant do instead of what you can do. The aircraft are old and tired. Check out Gateway Aviation at Queen City. Great place to train - aircraft are better equipped and maintained. More bang for your rental rate buck - and without the obnoxious management.
