My experience at Oklahoma Aviation was outstanding! Excellent group of instructors that all work very well together and I learned so much from each one that I flew with. Very nice and clean G1000 airplanes. If you are looking for very professional and disciplined training, then I would highly recommend Oklahoma Aviation to you. Thank you Greyson and team for helping me obtain my Instrument rating!
Excellent place to go get your training done. Plenty of planes, instructors and experience. Military friendly for those using post 9/11 GI bill for funding!
I had a great experience working with the team over at Oklahoma Aviation especially Christian. I am personally a CFI/CFII/MEI and came to get some instrument approaches in before I conducted an interview with DHS. Christian was very knowledgeable on IFR procedures and was great to work with. He even picked me up from OKC when I arrived and dropped me off at my hotel when we were finished. He really went above and beyond what I had expected.
If you are looking to pursue aviation as a career or if you have an interest in flying recreationally, then I highly recommend that you attend Oklahoma Aviation. They have a wonderful team of highly professional Flight Instructors that are extremely dedicated in making sure that you reach your goals. I attended Oklahoma Aviation in order to obtain my Multi Engine Commercial Certificate in the DA42 NG and I must say that everyone should get a chance to fly this airplane. The maintenance personnel were far beyond satisfaction, leaving absolutely no issues with the airplane during my training. I would also like to give credit to the amazing staff that handles the administrative side of the team, for they always seemed to make the students a priority with their urgency in taking care of any concerns, especially for Veterans using the GI-Bill. Thank you Oklahoma Aviation!
I am happy to write this review as a recent graduate of their 141 instrument course. I was looking for specifically a Part 141 course in the OKC area, and can say now without a doubt I am glad I made that choice. This is a tight-run outfit, and I was impressed from day one. They did what they said they do - the airplanes are well maintained, the instructors are knowledgeable and flexible to my schedule.
Yes, you'll be expected to put in your work to progress. But the syllabus is written to help you as a nascent pilot - and is strictly adhered to. All I can say is, if you come motivated and ready to work for your ratings - the staff will push as fast as you want/are capable of.
Now that's not to say it wasn't expensive. But flight school in general is expensive. However, the school admin made me aware up front and was open and honest throughout. Invoicing was a breeze and exactly what I expected.
Great school. Can't wait to continue on with commercial ratings.
