3 months agoI have been taking lessons here for a few months now and it is a nice facility with great instructors and a kind and helpful staff. The planes are all in good condition and well maintained and the prices are great especially for our area. Lexi is a very knowledgeable pilot and a great instructor and shows a lot of patience. I am an older student and I am loving my training. I stopped my training 20 years ago before finishing and it has been easy to start again without any judgement. Don't let anything hold you back!

11 months agoSundowner aviation is the best place in Ohio to learn to fly, from management to instructors and service agents they are all great. The instructors are very professional and knowledgeable and all the aircraft’s are exceptionally well maintained with in house knowledgeable mechanics. The environment is awesome and I can proudly say I became a private pilot at Sundowner aviation KLHQ. Now onto instrument training.

2 months agoIf you are looking to get the most bang for your buck and a laid back atmosphere to take flying lessons or just rent a plane, this is your place! Ian the manager and part owner is down to earth and can lead you in the right direction. Instructor wise, I recommend the one and only Gregory Miller. I could not ask for a better person to be my guide in becoming a future commercial pilot. He is fun, chipper, funny, extremely intelligent and also flew Warthogs for the Air Force! Can't get better than that! Stop in the place and have a chat or just sit and enjoy the view of the airplanes taking off.

I'll keep this review updated, as I intend to earn my PPL here🤞 During this time, I'll be discussing (on here and on my other platforms) MY overall experience, so other Potential Students can have a better first hand, real life review of what to expect.
