Tom (owner) has a lifetime of experience flying and performing maintenance on these aircraft, which reflects in the quality and safety of the Hogan operation. Leonora helped me complete my Commercial Pilot in 2024, and I give my full endorsement in regards to her instruction style and ability to relate to her students in a meaningful way. 4 months agoI’ve been flying with the Hogans for years. Their rates are great and the teachers here are passionate about the business and are wonderfully flexible when it comes to scheduling, which is great for those who have a busy, ever-changing schedule. I was able to get my ratings despite working a full time job, after all, despite having to travel a bunch. I’ve flown with multiple part 61 flight schools and none are as easy and fun to work with than Hogan’s Flying Service. I highly recommend giving them a call if you’re interested in getting any of your ASEL ratings.

6 months agoI have been flying with the school for a couple months now, and with the bad instructors I had in the past their flight instructor Leonora has gotten me where I needed to be as a PPL student. Everyone that works in the office is great! You have the owner who is very helpful with making payments, to knowledgeable/likeable experienced instructors, to a mechanic who can answer anything on the back end about planes!

a month agoAlthough I was initially very nervous about learning to fly, my experience at Hogan Flying Services was fantastic, thanks to Leonora and Billy. They created a supportive environment, patiently explained everything, and addressed all my concerns. They were especially helpful in managing my anxiety, providing practical techniques and constant encouragement. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially nervous flyers, as they helped me gain both flying skills and self-confidence.

a month agoHogan rental and flight training is an exceptional place to obtain pilot certificates, bfr, endorsements and their rental service program makes you feel like family, allowing 24/7 open access to their aircraft inventory. Their flight instructors are compassionate educational and devoted to the wonderful field of aviation. And the owner Tom Hogan is one of the greatest men I have met, providing not only his uninterrupted attention when needed, but a dedicated man with endless wisdom into both piloting and aircraft mechanics, making him the soul and heart of the business.
