11 months agoTook the Premium Helicopter Introductory Flight at the Louisburg location. It was a thorough and enjoyable experience. After a comprehensive safety briefing we went over the full pre-flight inspection and checklist. After all the pre-flight and start-up procedures were complete we took a nice long flight around the area while learning basic rotary wing flight principles. Upon returning to the airport area we did several approaches, take-offs and basic hovering maneuvers. The overall experience was informative and fun. I would recommend Paul as a guide or instructor for any program. He is a wealth of knowledge and he definitely made the experience even better.

a year agoI recently completed my private pilot training at Total Flight Solutions and I am extremely happy with the whole experience. Everyone at the school has been professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. My instructor, Carson Wood, knows his stuff inside and out. He made sure I could operate the plane safely, handle the radios, perform my maneuvers correctly and always gave me a bunch of feedback and tips to keep improving. We scheduled regular flights throughout the course of a year, which worked out well with my schedule. Towards the end, I felt well prepared for my checkride. Shout out to Julie at the front desk as well, she made sure my paperwork and billing was all in order, kept on top of maintenance items and was generally always friendly and helpful. Their planes are well maintained and I never once felt unsafe. If anything ever came up, they were quick to fix it. The maintenance hangar is on the airport grounds, it was reassuring to see how clean and well organized it always is. Long story short, I'd highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their pilot training.
