Ok we have all heard horror stories about flight schools but this is not one of your typical flight schools! They were very patient with me as I knew I had some holes in my training. They never gave up on me and did not send me to my checkride until we both felt I was ready and success was assured by this principle! I am now a CFI and cannot be happier. Thanks Chris, Jason, and Sam. You guys are the best!
The owner of Blueline, Trey Walters, takes the time with his students. Trey will set aside his personal schedule to help his pilots become safe, knowledgeable and the best they can be. I am so impressed with all the instructors including Sam Daniels. Sam took the time out of his weekend to teach and answer student calls past work hours to help with questions. I can't say enough about Blueline. I chose wisely!
I would definitely recommend Blue Line Aviation as a place to build a foundation for a career in aviation. After starting with zero experience, Blue Line’s rigorous and thorough training system adequately prepared me for my checkrides and have helped me develop a strong understanding in the basics of aviation as well as prepared me for my career. My instructor Connor did a phenomenal job of preparing me for my commercial practical exam, and prepared me to a higher standard than required which helped me transition smoothly into the next stage of my training.
I give Blue Line 4.5 stars, because there is always room to improve. The squeakiest wheels get the grease.. if you miss a day for a migraine or a doctor’s appointment as it currently stands you’ll mess up your entire built out schedule. Students are missing flights and ground lessons, then trying to make them up to get back on track and it’s not shaking out. As far as I can tell, the students who belly ache the most get their schedules back on track.. and other non confrontational students get their schedules rebuilt for a later graduation date. That really hurts some students who need constant engagement the most. However, that is within the realm of control and Blue Line works on improving the flow every week.
Be kind.. Be patient.. Be healthy.. Be on time.. and study!
The most knowledgeable and kind people at Blue Line I’ve interacted with(in no particular order) are; Jack Curtis, Connor Leonhart, Joe Picarella, Cody Richards, Emily Rubio and Ron Lee.
Halfway through CPP at time of writing.
I just completed my Certified Flight Instructor check ride at Blue Line Aviation. This was only possible thanks to the amazing preparation due to Connor Leonhart’s tutelage in the Commercial Pilot Academy setting me on the right track for the future. Upon starting the CFI course; Lake Tucker, Mike Ferrell, and Anthony Giacobello in a combined effort prepared me more than anyone else could for the undisputed hardest check-ride of them all. I can’t thank any of them or Blue Line Aviation enough for the opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you for everything!
