5 months agoI can honestly Steve at Horizon Air Ambulance saved my life (literally). After a medical scare, Steve worked with me diligently to bring me back to the USA from a vacation gone wrong. Assisting me with transportation needs, he was also able to help me fight with my insurance for a reimbursement. If thats not great customer service then I do not know what is. Hopefully I will never need an air ambulance again but if I do, Horizon Air is the FIRST call!

a year agoHorizon Air Ambulance was nothing short of incredible. After a serious accident in Iceland, my wife contacted Horizon to get me home. Steve Panzella jumped in immediately and provided an incredible sense of professionalism and calm. He coordinated the process perfectly and quickly. Horizon’s flight team was incredible. They arrived at the hospital, took control of the situation, and got me back to the States quickly and safely. They did not stop until they handed me over to my doctors here. They are pros. I knew I was in good hands.

a year agoI truly cannot say enough positive things about Steve and his team! We were in Iceland when my husband was injured and needed an air ambulance to get back to Boston. After spending several days waiting for insurance to help, I googled "air ambulance" and Horizon Air Ambulance came up with great reviews. I called and Steve immediately answered and walked me through what would need to happen to get my husband home ASAP. Everything Steve said about the process, how insurance would treat us, reimbursement, etc. was all true. Steve and his team were beyond responsive and professional from the time I made the call until they got my husband to a Boston hospital. I truly cannot recommend this company enough and I am not one to write reviews (which is why it has taken me 3 months to actually write this review). If you or anyone you know is in the unfortunate situation of needing an air ambulance, do not hesitate to reach out to Horizon Air Ambulance. They are phenomenal!

a year agoMy husband had heart attack in Aruba. Needed Air Ambulance to US for Bypass surgery. During this stressful time, Steve at Horizon and staff gave us VIP service. Their professional approach alleviated a great deal of stress that was brought on by the incident. We arrived home safely. We have a great deal of gratitude for the treatment we received from medical and flight staff.

4 years agoThis company helped bring my son home who become ill overseas. I have nothing but positive things to say about Steve, the nurses on the flight, pilots, the company owner and everyone else in the company that made it happen. I feel that everything went smoothly during complex Covid times due to their dedication and hard work. Steve is friendly, prompt, truly caring and excellent communicator.
