7 months agoJohn ghosted me after many conversations, a meet and greet, and a handshake agreement for a check ride. Now because I have been ghosted, I am not going to be able to find a DPE in time for my school's instrument term basically wasting a few months of my life where I can't progress in my training. If we hadn't agreed to do the check ride I would have found someone else and would have probably already gotten my PPL and be prepping for instrument.

a year ago2023-05-05 I flew my C172 from Del Rio, TX and arrived mid-afternoon. Tower was helpful with my approach, and they guided me to the FBO. Clean facilities and friendly staff. There is even a restaurant on-site that is open Wed-Sun 8am-2pm. What a treat! No fees for landing, and the overnight tie-down price is only $10 but waived with any amount of fuel purchased. If you're thinking of flying to Albuquerque, give Double Eagle (KAEG) a try!

2 years agoStop over night on Atlanta to Seattle trip in the Seneca. Excellent line service, gas and oxygen top-off and they let us use the courtesy car overnight because they did not have rental cars available. The girls at the desk were extremely helpful. We will be back!
