a week agoTook my dad for a discovery flight for his birthday, he absolutely LOVED it! The staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Brian #4 was his teacher and he was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this place was amazing!

4 years agoFantastic operation they have here. I did a rental checkout with Don yesterday and he was a great pilot to fly with and a great instructor. He was extremely thorough in giving me local knowledge of the airport and didn't just look at my homework I provided for the checkout. He examined it well and made sure I knew what I was doing. Barbara has also been extremely helpful and extremely friendly throughout my process to become a member. I'm very much looking forward to renting aircraft from here. The aircraft I flew for the checkout, a 172P, has been maintained very well, and despite even more than usual right turning tendencies, was a great plane to fly. Up to date avionics and equipped with ADS-B.

a year agoWe had our son take his first flying experience with Freeflight Aviation out of the Flying W Airport. He did a Discovery Flight Gift Package, and we couldn't be happier. It came with both classroom time and flight time. Gene was an amazing instructor, who took time to explain everything. It's great when someone with knowledge and passion shares their gift with others. And especially with a kid/young adult, it's priceless.
