Great instructors (which can change over time). Andriy is the man, Jackie is also excellent. Craig at the front desk is a wealth of knowledge and has great relationships around the airport. Decent planes, semi pricey for what you're getting but if you are self motivated this is a good school. If you are looking for more guidance in the process this isn't it. As others have mentioned the physical space is very small, but you can use the lynx conference center for check rides. Overall good flight school, depends on what your learning style and goals are - I completed my PPL here and am very satisfied. That said I've only had one interaction with owner and have heard mixed things about him, can't speak from experience but if he reads this - take care of your people and they will take care of you, you have an excellent crew at the moment.
I had an amazing experience flying a plane with Certified Flyers! Viking was a great, enthusiastic instructor - he was very thorough in explaining all aspects of the plane and took the time to answer all of my questions during the lesson. The lesson was better than I every imagined and I will definitely do it again!
Got my private pilots here and still fly with Certified. Great shop and a fantastic place to learn. One of the few places in NJ where you can learn to fly a Cirrus SR20/SR22. This is definitely the best flight school in Morristown - don't be tempted by American Flyers - don't hear good things from their students and staff...
Phenomenal school, easy scheduling, training 7 days a week. I have been in and out of training for awhile now and have had the pleasure of flying with multiple instructors. Each instructor has went over and beyond to help myself succeed at becoming a pilot. My schedule has always been difficult with work and children but weekends and afternoon scheduling really worked for me. Online scheduling is a plus. Aircrafts from affordable single engine to multi engine. Just waiting for them to buy a helicopter!
Fellow future pilots. I wasted over a year and slot of money. There are so many schools at Morristown, Caldwell, and beyond. This “school” has an absent owner, no one to get you through to the end. Just keep paying top price for poorly maintained planes. I wish I read this kind of review over a year ago. Not only would I have finished my private vfr but I would have completed ifr training too. Nice enough crew, but just don’t waste your time.
