Had an excellent first flight with instructor Jacob Ellis. It was definitely a little cold, but the plane ran excellent, and the instructor was able to answer any question I had. Can’t wait to come back!
I love this restaurant! Very friendly and helpful, highly recommended. If you are up here visiting you should definitely stop by. The food is really good!
I'm writing this for the fact they have ethanol free gas. It's 91 octane I think; and they call it MOGAS. You can pay at a kiosk that right next to the pumps. The pumps are about 40 feet from the parking areas and you have to bring gas cans, no driving up to the pumps (unless you are an airplane!). The pumps are to the right of the airfield building, again about 40 feet to the right. Don't use Google maps to get to the airfield, use Google maps to get to the Hampton Airfield Café. I drove 45 minutes to get there because it's the closest one to Manchester NH that isn't leaded racing fuel. At around $6 a gallon when unleaded cost around $5 for premium is very reasonable. I tested the gas with the water method and it is ethanol free.
