4 months agoBest flight school in town! I took an instrument ground school they put on and it made learning the materials so much easier. The fleet of planes are very clean, they have an incredible group of instructors and the office staff is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend!

2 years agoI came in from out of town and Jennifer was able to help organize a familiarization/scenic flight in a short matter of time. I flew a beautifully maintained 172 equipped with a G1000 with Jake helping me out. We flew down to South Lake Tahoe and back, giving me the ability to take it all in from 10,000 feet. Before the flight, I got to sit on some of the CFis and students chatting away. Lovely folks who are passionate about aviation. Great experience! I plan on coming back to learn how to fly the taildragger.

4 years agoGreat Basin is a fantastic place for aviation. They provide a great platform to learn how to fly with top notch instruction. If you already have a license, they feature a great fleet for rentals. I personally just rented a plane and flew up to Boise, Idaho. They also do scenic flights and discovery flights. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. If you are interested in aviation, I would highly recommend you chose Great Basin!

8 months agoThe best place to learn. I’ve trained and flown all over the country. GBA is definitely far superior when it comes to training you to fly the right way throughly. Much respect and appreciation. I’ve shown other experienced pilots a few of their methods and they had aha moments.
