in the last weekButte Aviation over charged us for ramp fee. Fuellerlink says ramp fee $200. They charged us $400. Double the price. Also the FBO grilled us for not taking fuel. And threatened a pilot with a story of how they had a pilot fired for not getting fuel there. We elected to tanker fuel in Spokane due to weather and forecast. Do not stop here if you can avoid it. Manager very rude.

4 years agoStopped in for a few gallons of AV Gas on our way to Seattle. It was a nice little airport, great runways. The hospitality was great, when we were deciding whether we could cross Mullan Pass through Deer Lodge we ran into some fellow pilots attempting the same route in a VFR only aircraft as well. As we decided to leave, the manager took his plane for a spin to run some winterization oil and take a peek at the actual weather for all of us. We left as he was returning with the good pirep, and made it through with impeccable timing. You don't find this kind of hospitality in the big city. Thank you!
