I recently had surgery, which was schedule suddenly after buying tickets to a show at the regent. the week of the concert, it occurred to me to email the venue and see if they could do anything. they responded very promptly that i would have a seat reserved for me under my name. arriving at the venue, getting in was super well organized. everyone was very professional and kind.
i want to especially call out the security, some venues have very aggressive security folks, these people did their job scanning and checking bags, but were very chill and nice about it.
i was shown to my seat, which was marked with my name. the upstairs bar popcorn machine was not working, and someone went downstairs to get me a popcorn.
i would not have been able to stand and enjoy the show without this accommodation. i was able to see a band i love and have been going to see for 20 years.
i am so exhausted today, as it was still too much activity for my recovery, but i'll take it easy.
100% will recommend this venue again
Aging but fun music venue on the eastern edge of downtown LA. The first floor is an open dance floor, and I loved that it was sloped down to the stage - we had a totally clear view. The top floor has tables and seats. Acoustics were decent. Drinks were overpriced as always at $17. Street parking or private lots only which can be challenging, so consider rideshare, scooter, or Metro Bike.
Wow!!! Went to see Wonho tonight at the Regent and I have to say this is the BEST venue EVER!! The staff tonight were the most kindest and helped make my 92 year old mom have the best night with a stool that had a back on it... never had that happen at all the other venues we went to.
Itolo and his assistant on the floor were Awesome!! Also Andrew was prompt and helpful with replying to my emails regarding my mom.
I hope I can go to more shows at this venue!!! Thank you to all that were there tonight!!!👍
