People were friendly and helpful, and the helicopter ride was fun. It's not cheap, but if you can afford it, I would recommend it. A 10 minute ride seems to go by pretty quick, but the ride is as long as they promise it to be.
This is a great flight school that is only 15 minutes north of Grand Rapids at the Sparta Airport! I learned in N6520W, a Piper Cherokee 140 that is a solid plane and I was able to achieve my Private Pilot's license. I highly recommend them!
They were very helpful in getting me a discovery flight the same day within hours of talking to them and they advised me to save me money for lessons.
In addition, Patrick recommended getting an online subscription for the FAA Written exam.
I bought the discovery flight as a birthday gift for my sister and the experience was nothing short of amazing. Our pilot Jordan was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner Patrick was very accommodating. Overall 10/10 experience would definitely recommend
I had just an awesome time! Rachel was my instructor and she was fantastic, showing me what she was doing and why, answering my questions… it was a delightful hour together.
