5 months agoI came to DCT because I wanted to overcome my fear of flying. The instructors were incredibly patient and understanding. Not only have I overcome my fear but I’m about to complete my ppl. At DCT dreams really do come true! Everyone here is amazing. Kim and Ellie at the front desk are kind and helpful with scheduling. Ilya the owner is always there to talk to you and make sure everything is going smoothly. My instructor Ali has taken time and gone in depth on every lesson and pushes me to do better and fly more precisely. The aircraft are well maintained, especially for such a large fleet. You won’t struggle to get flight hours here, they constantly monitor the weather and conditions so if it’s safe you will fly. The pricing is very straightforward and they are very flexibly if you need to cancel. Having an 8 month old daughter I have had to cancel a lesson a few times and they don’t charge me or hold it against me. Flying here is the highlight of my week. I plan to continue here with my IFR rating

5 months agoWhen I decided to pursue my dream of working as a commercial pilot, I came to DCT Aviation to obtain my Certified Flight Instructor rating. DCT has the best maintained aircraft and flight simulators in the area. Their instructors are top notch and they are also one of the very few FBOs to have a twin engine aircraft for multi-engine training. I highly recommend training at DCT Aviation.

5 months agoI did all of my flight training at DCT, top notch facility. The planes are all well maintained with the latest avionics, the instructors are all very knowledgable and the owners are the nicest people who really do care about your flight training progress. If you're looking to do flight training in southeast Michigan this is the place to do it. I'm now currently working as a commercial airline pilot so they really do make dreams come true!

4 years agoDreams really can come true! I've been flying with DCT since June of 2017 when I decided to follow my own dream and learn to fly. The DCT team is an outstanding family of top-notch flight instructors, pilots, and staff. They are warm, welcoming, friendly and completely dedicated to safety. All the equipment is meticulously maintained with current equipped and modern avionics. If you want the best flight school for your training or advanced certification, then DCT is the place for you!!

2 years agoVery organized and thorough flight school. A little more expensive than some others but I believe you get what you pay for, do you really want to go cheap when you go thousands of feet up in air.
