a year agoCaptain Nizar Bechara is the best Chief Flight Instructor in the area. The quality of education is at a standard that no other flight school in Maryland has. Captain Nizar's philosophy of teaching revolves around safety to the point where I not only trust him with my life in the air, but he also makes sure that his students become the safest pilots they can ever be. After flying with Captain Nizar for over 5 years, I can confidently say that Royal Air Flight Training is the best flight school you'll come across in Maryland.

a year agoI want to extend a huge thank you to the Becharas at Royal Air Flight Training for helping me start flying again. Their support and candor about what can be done to complete a private pilot license while working a full-time job and a pursuing a Ph.D. has helped me manage expectations and plan an efficient path forward for achieving my dream of becoming a safe, educated, and skilled pilot. The instructor experience is far superior to any other instructors I met with and it shows during each lesson. In addition to flight lessons, ground lessons, a full ground school, and simulator lessons, they make themselves regularly available and are happy to answer any questions after a lesson. Their education is going a long way in preventing the unnecessary costs and nervous uncertainly which prevented me from following through with my training when I first started back in 2013 at another training center. I had to quit because ran out of will due instructors constantly leaving to the airlines and lacked the finances I really needed because they gave me a quote for the 40 hour minimum requirement which is unrealistic. The Becharas were honest from the start about what it would take and have a passion for teaching and growing aviation. They are care about their students future as aviators and are not only looking to build hours or make money. Now that I have good people in my corner who I trust, I look forward to becoming a private pilot. Thank you!

2 years agoNizar was by far the best CFI I have had. The training is very precise and procedural, which prepared me for flight training at the University of North Dakota. I was able to start my flight training at UND already at commercial standards. Highly recommend!
