My grandson showed an immediate interest in flight after his initial introductory flight. I couldn’t wait to see if this interest would wain or blossom and blossom it did. His every thought and conversation was about flight. He studied each topic he was taught by his Dream flight instructor and was able to grasp every aspect of the lessons. He also was focused on the flight portion of the training. His Dream fight instructor quickly guided him to proficiency in take offs and landings and all of the aspects of ground maneuvering in and around the airport. My grandson devoted any spare time to enhancing his knowledge of all things relating to the flight tasks before him. The training at Dream was excellent! My grandson mastered the ground knowledge and Solo’ed when he was 16 yrs old (as soon as was permitted).
I’ve been pursuing my PPL for about a year now and have been absolutely thrilled with my overall experience. The CFI has been a wealth of knowledge and experience and been nothing but professional during all phases of training. The ground staff is equally professional, friendly and accommodating. I feel I’ve gotten what I’ve paid for with regards to the cost and I’ve been very satisfied. Airplanes are airplanes and routine and non routine maintenance are a fact of life with ANY flight school. I like the variety of aircraft available and the opportunity to explore and learn to fly new aircraft once I’ve achieved my PPL. I’d highly recommend Dream Flight School to anyone with the desire to learn how to fly.
The AP great, front staff great. Extremely ANTIQUATED scheduling system. Instructors I have been with are top notch, when they are actually available (antiquated computerized scheduler is the main problem here). Aircraft availability is really an issue! Rental policy is not very real life friendly and the policy seems to change with the frequency of a cross wind component. Overall I am glad this school is here, however I am coming to the realization that in order to maintain my flying requirements, owning is going to have to happen very soon. If you want to rent and fly 4 hours a month, go for it, otherwise seek other avenues. No feedback on the flight school aspect, as I am not using any of their training.
They want $12,900 for a PPL and that is with no ground school. To compare, you can go to Brett Aviation at Martin State Airport and get your PPL for around 7-8k if you do your ground school online through Sportys. I’m not sure where they are getting their pricing from, but based on their other low reviews they should really reconsider their worth when it comes to PPL pricing.
