I had a great time in the Cessna Hawk XP on floats last week! We spent over 2 hrs practicing Takeoffs & Landing on multiple lakes in the area and in the River! Glassy water, normal landings, & more. Since I already got my Seaplane rating back in 1980 but hadn’t flown at all since 1998, The time spent here was just what I wanted! The setup on Indian Pond in St Albans for flying float is perfect , whether getting your seaplane rating or just having a great time flying floats when you don’t have your own seaplane.
