When I started my Private Pilot Training at PAA I had cabin crew experience in military helicopters, but zero experience in fixed wings. The Instructors and Staff at PAA have set the bar high in professionalism, safety, and standards. The learning environment was challenging, but focused on the individual student. As stated in the previous review they were understanding and flexible when it came to my schedule, and the course was relatively self paced. For example some things I picked up quickly and others took more time. The syllabus, and instructor allowed me to learn at my pace. The training not only prepared me for the FAA exam, and Practical Test, but prepared me for real world flying and God forbid Emergency's. If you're interested in a career in aviation, or just want a fun and rewarding hobby that you think is out of reach. Check out PAA!!
Professional Aeronautics Academy is a one of a kind Flight School. They offer benefits and services that are unmatched by any other school. The staff and instructors are some of the best the industry has to offer, and it shows in the school practical test pass rate. Military Veterans need look no farther for flight training as PAA has the best opportunities for educational benefits that are matched by no other institution.
The Professional Aeronautics Academy team took me through my Commercial all the way to my Airline Transport Pilot ratings to include instructor certificates. The training was always professional and conducted to the highest standards equipping me for successful checkrides and a career beyond. The training and knowledge the school gave me has prepared me to be a more professional pilot and and skilled aviator. If you are looking for a school to jump start a new career or even broaden your aviation skill base, you can rely on PAA to get the job done. Be ELITE. Rise ABOVE!
I retired from the USAF in June of 2012. My primary duty assignment during most of my USAF career was as a flight instructor in the B-52G/H. Although I had over 1,500 hours as an AF instructor pilot, my time was all multi-engine IP time. Upon arriving in Leesville to take a job as a civilian contractor at Fort Polk while waiting on a flying position to open up in Pueblo, CO, I found PAA on the internet.
My goal, and a requirement for my new job as a civilian flight instructor at Doss Aviation, was to obtain a CFI rating to add to my multi-engine instructor and CFII ratings. I had an instant bond with the folks at PAA in Leesville, and we began to develop a plan to accomplish my instruction. After discussing options with the staff I found out I might qualify to use my Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits to fulfill my goal. Although it took a couple of months for the paperwork to process and I couldn’t start until the fall term, my training went very smoothly and everyone was wonderful to work with at PAA, and MCTC.
I will not forget the folks at PAA nor the level of professionalism shown by them as we worked toward completing my training and completing my single engine land add-on and then my CFI rating. I highly recommend PAA to anyone pursuing a rating in the aviation field! Top notch organization and organized to enure your success!
PAA hands down has set me up for success in the aviation community and I will forever be grateful. The folks at PAA will do everything they can to help you succeed, if you have the will they have the way. There are a few flight schools out on the market but PAA I believe is the best, due to their sincere attitude to produce safe, professional pilots. If you have a chance to take courses with PAA, make sure you do and you will not regret it.
