I officially completed my private pilot license today. The process was such an amazing experience and I always looked forward to my next lesson. All of the staff, instructors, and mechanics are very friendly , welcoming, and experts within their field. I was surprised that everyone already knew me by name by my 2nd or 3rd lesson. Another thing I did not expect to see is the great lengths that everyone involved are willing to go to make things happen, accommodate to your schedule, and always have you set up for success. My instructor played such a huge roll throughout my flight training and always found ways to help expand my knowledge base. When it comes to the quality of training offered , paired along side instructors that genuinely enjoy seeing you progress, the results simply speak for themselves. My primary instructor was just as committed to my program as I was. He would always ensure that I understood the knowledge and/or topic and why it is so important. Then we would apply it to the skies and skills development. When I officially passed and was presented with my certificate he was just as excited as I was. I had such a great experience and will be continuing additional training there for sure.

Looking to do a swamp tour but without the mosquitoes? Aviation Academy is the perfect place to do just that! Their experienced helicopter pilot, Craig, flew us over the atchafayala basin and Louisiana marshland. As a native to Louisiana, it was incredible to see egrets flying over the tree tops of cypress trees, hawks diving downward, crawfish ponds in transition to becoming rice fields, and farmland perfectly sectioned into squares. Seeing Louisiana from a bird’s eye perspective was a new experience for us and one we’ll treasure in our memories forever! Cannot recommend Aviation Academy enough! Thank you again for the incredible experience!

Aviation Academy of Louisiana is a great school ! Took my discovery flight in June and just started my journey to become a pilot with them and I am enjoying it . Very professional school , from the mangers to the staff and to the flight instructors . Everything about to school is top notch . My flight instructor Andrew is a great instructor , helps me out every step of the way. Awesome views in the sky and great times .

Such an amazing school! The staff are all incredible and the instructors are very knowledgeable and are willing to help you with anything you need. I was able to complete my private pilot rating all while working 60 hours a week and the school didn’t even bat an eye and just rolled with it. All the aircraft are very well maintained and are all very nicely updated with the latest avionics tech. All the airplanes are so easy to fly and are fantastic to train in. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking to do anything from just a private pilots license all the way up to certified flight instructor, it truly is a one stop shop!

Amazing flight school! Came here all the way from Southern California to do my CFI training! All the instructors and staff are amazing. They treat you like family. Highly recommend flying here!
