The customer service is an absolute joke . If you enjoy being belittled , ignored and even mocked call them . I was charged for services that I never received and charged almost 3 times what my EOB showed . I tried for 3 months to get this bill corrected and was ignored and sent to collections. I would rather hitchhike the 5th ward with a crawfish clamped on my scrotum wearing fishnets and 9 inch heals in a snow storm then to ever have to deal with this company again . I will never get into an Acadian ambulance again . Thank you for the stress , mental abuse , and sleepless nights .
I have never used this company ever before and yet it seems they have purchased my data. I have received a notice that my information was involved in a data breach that happened in June 2024. This sucks and thanks to this company I am now a victim due their incompetence and lack of morality. You can see the notice of the breach on their website. (Edit after response from Acadian) I have never been involved with Acadian ever, I have only been involved with my local fire department emergency services (no private ambulance service was involved) and that was in 2017. I haven't even gone to the doctor/hospital in the last 20 years. Acadian got my info from somewhere and would like more transparency on how it was acquired.
I was a long distance transport to Dallas from Lafayette which meant 8 hours on a stretcher with maybe 1/2 inch padding. There are air mattresses and memory foam pads designed for stretchers that would make it more bearable. Staff were very pleasant and professional and did what they could to make me comfortable but it was impossible to be comfortable on that stretcher for such a long travel. Also, there was a small fan but seemed to be no air conditioning in the transport compartment.
After the bill was settled through my insurance, they continued to send delinquent notices. Don't trust them. They cashed the check from my insurance but are still billing me. Their system was down when I called to speak with them.
I had to rate just to rate them Acadian ambulance driver came to our apt my Boyfriend has a triple a aneurism And Don't dick around lets go if your going to the er time was at 1045 place oct the 12 2024 He told us he was gonna give us his supervisor's phone number. He surely didn't give it or leve it with us His attitude was horrible.I was in a hurry for him just to turn around a walk back out the door that was horrouble service I would not Recommend them to anyone If that's the best that they have, then I don't know what to say.I'll just walk to the hospital if I need to go
