a month agoI'm an 80 year old foster dad and I wanted to give my nine year old foster son an opportunity to experience the joy of flying. I'm a former pilot but no longer meet the physical requirements and don't own an aircraft. I contacted Cardinal Wings and arranged to rent an airplane and the services of a licensed pilot instructor so I could legally and safely introduce my son to the experience of personal aviation and allow him to see the world from a new perspective. They were very understanding and accommodating and the next day My son and I met Mitch, our pilot and instructor at Cardinal Wings. After introductions and some brief paperwork Mitch took us to our rented airplane and we proceeded to go through the appropriate checklist procedures before departing departed prior to a very enjoyable discovery flight that my son enjoyed tremendously. The aircraft was clean and in excellent condition, full of fuel and ready to fly when my son and I arrived. Mitch was satisfied with my qualifications, experience and ability in the spite of my age and allowed me to pilot the aircraft under his watch. The weather was beautiful, the aircraft performed flawlessly and we enjoyed the flight. Based on this experience, I highly recommend Cardinal Wings Aviation and our pilot instructor, Mitch.

4 years agoI have been flying at cardinal wings since last summer and they care about their customers and I feel appreciated. The desk girls are very nice and the instructors don't treat you as a student but as a friend. The community, appeal, and ambience of the school, aircraft, and community is nice. Out of all the facilities at Bowman field; it is by far the nicest and cleanest. I have flown at several companies and Cardinal Wings is my favorite. 5 stars across the board!

4 years agoIts an absolute joy learning to fly at Cardinal Wings Aviation. Something I've always wanted to do. The staff is knowledgeable. everyone there seems to love aviation as much as I do. My instructor Mark Perkins is an exceptional teacher and pilot. Highly recommend these guys if your head is in the clouds like mine!!

7 years agoTook my first flight lesson with these guys. My instructor Eric was very thorough in pre flight and told me everything I needed to know before going up. The rental rates are really good, the staff very friendly, and we had a GREAT flight. I will be flying with these guys again.
