Windy City Aviation is hands down the best flight school in the Chicagoland Area. Every single one of the flight instructors is passionate about their career and super patient when teaching their students. When I did my private pilot training at Windy City, my instructor would go out of his way to ensure I understood every topic even if he had to repeat it to me over and over again until I could fully grasp it. As I was leaving for college at the end of the summer, I only had a few months to get my license and Liz, the Director of Client Services, sat down and worked with me to figure out a plan so I could finish my training as quickly as possible. Before every lesson, I was greeted by a friendly dispatcher behind the front desk who would brief me with all of the necessary information for my flight. While I am currently pursuing the rest of my ratings through my university, I continue to come back to Windy City to fly every time I come home to visit. Windy City Aviation helped me make my lifelong dream of becoming a pilot come true, and I cannot be more grateful for all they have done for me.

Windy City Aviation is honestly by far the best flight training experience you could ever receive in the Chicagoland area. I started at Windy City aviation in March of 2020 working towards my private pilot certificate and now I currently have my Commercial Pilot Certificate and Instrument rating! It is by far the best experience and most quality flight training you could ever receive at any flight school. The director of client services Liz is so helpful in making sure you have the best experience at the flight school and matches you with a flight instructor that will ensure you pass every check-ride with no problem at all. My instructor Mike has been working with me all the way from private through commercial and will be now guiding me through CFI training and I can say I have never had a better instructor than Mike. The amount of support I have received from all the instructors, Liz, Stewart, and all the dispatchers is incredible. Windy City Aviation doesn’t just consider you a student, they treat you like family as well.

I did all of my private and instrument flight training with Windy City and was totally satisfied with the level of instruction I received. They have a whole slate of knowledgeable, patient instructors who all follow a comprehensive curriculum that had me well prepared for my checkrides. They also do a great job of maintaining a fleet of airplanes available for rent, so I have continued to enjoy working with Windy City after learning to fly. I highly recommend them!

Windy City's staff was extremely professional and accommodating in helping me reach my goals. In addition, the aircraft were well maintained and being enrolled in the membership helped save a lot of money. Would highly recommend for anyone; from pilots looking to rent for fun, or for those looking to pursue a professional career.

Really enjoyed learning to fly at WCA. All of the instructors were professional and very accommodating to my schedule. They took me from zero hours through my private license with solid ground and flight training. They did a great job keeping the planes healthy and available for lessons.
