a year agoI bought my husband a Discovery Flight and we booked it for today. We had an amazing time! Mike was our instructor and we really enjoyed his knowledge and the way he explained things. We'll definitely be doing this again and I'd highly recommend it (even for someone that may not be interested in getting a license).

As a former pilot he was impressed with Evan, the CFI for his Flight. who was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the plane & very professional & courteous. a month agoStill learning, still flying! Update in September, I completed my Private Pilot certification in late July, having totaled about 90 hours total in my logbook. Passed the practical and checkride with no problems. What I liked about Lanier was that their management constantly checked with me to make sure I was progressing consistently, and not burning cash filling my CFI's logbook for his 1500 hrs. They were very sensitive to their results while recognizing I was paying out of my personal funds to do something for the joy of it. These are good people and I recommend them highly!

10 months agoMy 16 year old son is a current student at Lanier Flight Center,, and my husband and I have been very impressed with the school and his experience! The administrative staff is well organized, attentive and helpful! Because of my son’s school schedule, they were really great with setting him up with two flight instructors in order to maximize his flying time around school hours. Both of my son’s CFI’s have been fantastic with him, knowledgeable, thorough and able to develop a great rapport with my son! I can tell he really looks up to and respects them! And perhaps some of the best news is they now have a DPE on site, so scheduling the final check ride will be easier! Overall, it has been a wonderful experience for us, and we highly recommend Lanier Flight Center if you are looking to work towards your PPL!
