I came to Voyager Aviation with the intention of finishing my PPL training in August. I started flying at Voyager Aviation on August 31st and by September 10th I was a licensed pilot! Granted that I had come to Voyager with all of my required PPL training. I flew with Henry in the Cessna 172 and right away we worked on what I needed to do to prepare for my checkride. I'm really grateful for how efficiently I moved through my training and onto my checkride at Voyager Aviation. I would definitely recommend this school for anyone who is looking to start fresh or finish up their flight training.

Received my PPl this year from Voyager Aviation. Excellent instructor who stayed with me from start to finish. Extremely flexible with pricing and schedule.

Unsafe maintenance practices. Prop and rudder were condemned on one of their planes! If you even consider flying here, check your plane for corrosion on the prop, flight control surfaces, and just about everywhere else. They neglect their poorly maintained fleet.

I received my ppl here in 2017. Ron Chappel was my instructor, who let me tell you, was great. Voyager was like second home during my training days. The people are absolutely great (Jeff and Diane) and the planes are good too. I flew N25573 (still do occasionally) during my training, however all the planes are great. Maintenance was quick to check things out. Carol was always a helpful hand and mind when needed. Recently Voyager has undergone a management change, but they still operate with the same enthusiasm and dedication as ever. The north side of the airfield is and always will be my little home. Voyager changed my life and I know it can change yours too.

Excellent customer service. Did my Multi Engine add-on, didn't try to string me along and sell me a bunch of hours of training. In fact, the instructor was willing to send me for the check ride before I felt like I was ready. Unfortunately, over the past year I've had several flight schools just trying to milk me for every penny on various ratings. This was not the case at Voyager ! Feels like I needed to add/edit this review since it's had over 1000 views... I tried to finish up my CFI here recently (2018) couldn't be 100% more polar opposite of my experience doing my multi engine. Appointment/reservations not made, poor communication if I got any. The only thing I asked was to work around my airline schedule. Specifically asked to do ground school to work on CFI stuff and got a run around answer, had reservations cancelled on bad weather days when could have been doing ground/mock oral, etc etc lots of wasted opportunities.
