My brother gave me an awesome bday gift and I got to experience something new and exciting. Eusebio was my instructor. He is assertive but also a classic jokester! His mission is to have fun but most importantly safety! He ran through all the details of the plane and before we took off he went through all the procedures and made sure you understood everything. The main thing is to keep calm and listen the to the man. When he says let go off the wheel then let go, then you get to go with the flow with the wind literally. It was like a mini roller coaster ride up in the air. I truly had a great time and I got to enjoy the beautiful horizon views of the Everglades and Downtown Miami. Key to all of this is to stay positive, calm and and keep looking at the horizon!
I cannot stress how horrible of an experience this was. Eusebio did not teach a single thing to me. On the phone he was super kind and facilitating, once we got in the plane it all changed. He didn’t actually show me how anything worked and kept saying “look at the horizon” which then progressed into him screaming at me, then slapping my hands off the steering, when again… he didn’t actually show me how to do anything. I ended up feeling uncomfortable, and overall concerned for my wife and I, so I called it short and went back to land. It was a nightmare. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this to any one. The worst part is that we had such good small talk going before the session. He clearly is a good pilot, but not a teacher in any capacity. He ended up telling me I was a control freak when I gave him feedback. What a waste of money and time! Let alone scary.
Let me put it this way of your wish is a death wish then this is the place to go! I wished I would’ve done some more research like I always do! This has been one of the most uncomfortable/ alarming situation I have been involve, Eusebio Valdez on the phone and in person was a nice guy but once we starting doing the preflight everything started to change! Luckily I went with my gut feeling
And I stopped this flight when we contacted ground! Things escalated real quick when this “ aerobatic flight instructor” started to speak to me with a very aggressive tone and actions, I demanded to turn the plane around or I would’ve open the door in the taxiway and jump out! Do not go here, not to mention the plane looks very unsafe all 3 tires need to be replaced and a strong smell of oil comes out meaning it has a good leak and it’s running to the manifold where it gets burn out! With all that being said this could be a great fire pit you don’t want to be near by. I don’t usually bother to write reviews especially a bad one but I just lost a friend on a plane crash and people like this should be band for ever from aviation.
Stay safe!
Went to Mr. Valdes for a "Discovery flight" yesterday, right before I got to the airport and said he had to delay an hour because he needed to charge the battery on the plane.
On the ground Mr. Valdes was kind and professional, after we got in the plane its like a switch flipped. He began yelling everything, kept slapping my hands off the controls. He would yell if I so much as glanced at the instrument panel, and would put sticky notes over them mid flight.
I was thoroughly annoyed by this, but at least I can still log an hour towards my PPL, right?
WRONG
When I asked for instruction and help with my logbook, Mr. Valdez mumbled that he needed to renew his CFI so he couldn't.
I looked up Mr. Valdez in the FAA Airman Registry, Turns out his CFI has been expired since JAN 2022.
Mr. Valdez is running a fraudulent operation, please take your business elsewhere.
The best experience ever. I gifted this to my boyfriend for his birthday and he had the best time flying. Eusebio cares about teaching and making sure people get the full experience.
