Mission Accomplished! Thanks for the excellent service! Drivers Wendy & Bill and Nurse Julie were awesome! They drove 24 hours straight from NY to FL and not even Tropical Storm Debby could stop them! We’re so glad that we found ACC Medlink. Brenda was admitted to ER of our home hospital, x-rayed, blood tested, etc and released. She is home now sleeping in her very own bed. Thanks so very much! God bless you all
My mother needed a transport from Florida to Michigan and has significant medical needs. The whole crew was courteous, professional and friendly! We were very pleased with our experience!
My family and I have been thrown into unfamiliar waters and for the first time since my brother's injury, we received clear, honest and compassionate care from start to finish with MedLink. I was extremely apprehensive to choose a medical transport team, having preferred airlift transport from New Jersey to Alabama, but my brother's insurance wouldn't cover the trip. For reference, in November 2023 my brother suffered cardiac arrest during an outpatient surgery and now has an anoxic brain injury. The family brought him from AL to New Jersey in January 2024 to undergo extensive rehab for 5 months and in May 2024 we needed to transport him back to AL for continued care.
I choose Medlink for my brother's transport because of their professionalism, courtesy, sympathy and their overall human decency. The trip was approximately 20 hours, but only because my brother required emergency attention to his feeding tube. Jan, the nurse, called me right away and advised they would wait with him at the closest ER, then continue the trip. My brother is non verbal, but I truly believe that Jan and the crew treated him with compassion and peaceful nurture throughout the trip.
I'm probably writing too much, but I'm so happy I choose Medlink! Other providers would not have offered this white glove treatment. My only wish is that the medical industry as a whole would operate like MedLink. I 100% endorse!
Do not trust your loved ones with this service
We paid $5k to transport my father from Chicago to Nashville. We made special arrangement to ensure his power wheelchair was included. We actually had to pay significantly more for this service.
They never took the wheel chair. He is paralyized and has no way to get out of bed.
They offered no remedy. So we had to rent a handicapped van - fly back to Chicago Drive it to Nashville and then drive back and fly home to Nashville. All they offered was to discount the cost of the transport for the wheelchair. They could have called prior to transporting him we could have delayed his transport and fixed the issue. But they didn’t think it was a big deal. This has caused great physical and mental pain for both my father in law as well as my family.
DO NOT USE THEM
Our trip was from Boynton Beach Florida to New Haven CT. The traffic was unbelievably horrific, but the crew was calm, caring and so ever patient with my mom.
**Here's a little background on my mom that might help you about whether this is right for you loved one**
They tended to her every need and got us back safely to New Haven. My mom is on 2 liters oxygen and having delusions after her hospitalization in March (stroke). She is also incontinent, her speech is very slurred and her motor skills are very poor especially on her right side. She never felt unsure or insecure or afraid.
If I ever need to transport a family member they will be my 1st phone call.
