2 years agoNeed to invest some of the millions they get from the taxpayer in some sheds or even sheets if they don't want people to see the subs. Instead prefer to waste police time harassing people for taking photos of subs in plain view of a public bridge.

a year agoThe photos sent are of BAE Systems of Barrow-in -Furness UK. They show a brief outlook of the local area and facilities. BAE are the supreme builders of nuclear submarines in the UK and a major employer who invest their personnel. Also included is a photo of the team employed on the last unit circumference butt weld on HMS Vigilant a Trident Nuclear Submarine with myself the welding foreman.

2 years agoI have visited BAE systems once with a relative who worked there. It was a nice visit with quite a bit on show, from what i can remember i looked inside a tank and saw a submarine being built. If they do this again and you can go, do it.

9 years agoFrom the outside, it looks like a military site, but really it's a calm, pleasant town with lots to offer. I well & truly recommend going to the Dock Museum, which is a mile west & includes a handful of the ships made by this splendid company. This is the place to go if you're a military enthusiast.

2 years agoA very protected place, even with a delivery it is difficult to enter the company and after entering the truck you must not leave the truck.
