Tysers was established in 1820 and has since earned a prominent position within the insurance market, particularly in the specialty lines of insurance. The company’s aviation division, Tysers Aviation, focuses specifically on the insurance needs of the aviation industry, including both commercial operators and private individuals!
Over the years, Tysers has expanded its expertise in various fields, including marine, property, casualty, and, of course, aviation insurance. The company prides itself on providing client-focused solutions and has built a reputation for reliability and professionalism.
Tysers stands out as one of the UK’s leading independent insurance brokers. In aviation, Tysers Aviation is recognized for its deep knowledge of the industry’s requirements and the risks associated with flying. This makes them a pivotal player in crafting bespoke insurance solutions tailored for the unique needs of pilots, owners, and operators of private jets and other air vehicles.
Coverage tailored for owners and operators of private jets, providing peace of mind against a variety of risks, from accidents to theft.
This encompasses a broad spectrum of insurance types, including coverage for airlines, helicopters, and charter services. Policies often include liability coverage, hull coverage, and more!
Tysers Aviation provides consultation and support to help clients identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Their team of experts analyzes clients’ needs to create customized plans that protect assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
Tysers Aviation offers advisory services to navigate complex regulatory environments, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency! Their consultants empower clients with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions.
With advancements in aviation technology, Tysers provides specialized insurance solutions that address the evolving risks associated with new innovations such as drones and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
As of my last knowledge update, the CEO of Tysers has shown astute leadership in navigating the complexities of the insurance space. The specific name of the CEO may vary with time, as leadership structures change, but Tysers typically utilizes a flat organizational structure encouraging collaborative input from various departments.
The leadership team at Tysers focuses on adapting to the rapidly evolving aviation industry, factoring in aspects such as regulatory changes, technological advancements in aviation, and global market trends. Their goal is to ensure that Tysers remains at the forefront of aviation insurance, continuously innovating to meet customer needs.
Tysers Aviation’s main office is strategically located at 71 Fenchurch Street in London. This central location serves as the hub for its operations and provides convenient access to the London insurance market and its many stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry regulators!
While Tysers Aviation primarily operates out of London, its influence extends globally because of partnerships with international underwriters and brokers. This allows them to service clients’ needs no matter where they are located, whether it be in Europe, North America, or beyond.
Tysers Aviation continuously adapts to shifts in the aviation market. Recent developments have seen a heightened focus on sustainability in aviation, reflecting broader global trends towards environmental responsibility. The aviation sector is increasingly looking at green technologies and practices, and Tysers Aviation is responding by exploring insurance solutions that address new risks associated with these innovations.
Additionally, the impact of global events, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, has reshaped how Tysers and other aviation insurers approach risk assessment. There has been an increased demand for insurance products that address changing travel patterns and the unique challenges posed by health crises. IATA offers valuable insights on these evolving trends!
Tysers has also undertaken efforts to improve its technological infrastructure, with enhancements in data analytics and digital platforms to facilitate smoother client experiences, knowledge sharing, and underwriting processes.
Tysers Aviation, as part of the broader Tysers organization, has positioned itself as a leading player in the aviation insurance market. 8 months agoI've been using Tysers for years and they have been good with renewal and general guidance. I have to highlight that the service got even better when Simon started managing our account and has really stood out with his efficiency, quick responses and polite manner. I would recommend this broker.

3 years agoThey have put up Insurance by £78+ a year, apparently due to incident of water ingress. But they will not show any report or invoices they claim have been settled. I don't think this is fair play to any of the residents.
