    I have banked with them for a long time. Along the way I have had some issues that I have just ignored. Today I had a transaction declined 3 times due to a red flag high risk transaction. Problem with that is I have done this same transaction for the last 3 months for the same amount on the same date. I spoke with 5 different representatives and 2 out of the 5 were extremely rude to me when I tried to get to the bottom of WHY the transactions were declining. They in tuun blamed visa and I am here left owing money, on the verge of loosing my subscription and still no solid answer as to why this happened in the first place. I spent my whole day trying to resolve this issue that apparently has no actual answer. No amount of fee less accounts is worth this. Very sloppy.

    I have been banking with them since 2019. I love that it’s online and you have the control to do the transactions online. Once I had to request a Bank letter and they were very quick to send it to me by email and no waiting. I’m also able to withdraw money from my investments account and it’s never locked. You can open the accounts by yourself without any difficulties as long as you know how the app functions. I’m surprised at all the negative comments in this section.

    The worst bank you could possibly have. Was just informed that they changed their cheque deposit policy to make it more punishing and punitive on their customers. The manager also said that my tenure with the bank (since 2017) didn’t matter at all and that they’re unwilling to help me with anything. Add on to that, it takes about 7 hours to reach anyone on the phone, and they flat out don’t keep any promises. I’m taking my banking elsewhere. After 8 years, a huge waste of time. “I understand why you want to leave. Have a good day”. Just fantastic customer service. Don’t ever bank here

    Update over 6 weeks still don't have a working credit card. This is probably the worst customer experience I've ever had in my life. Will advocate for the rest of my life on every social media platform to help people avoid this mistake. Old review: RUN from this place folks, it keeps worse by the day. Probably the worst customer experience I've experience in my lifetime. Hours and hours and hours on hold, told multiple different stories by customer service, half the people aren't even located in Canada. Terrified they have access to my information. I would avoid this bank at all costs.

    Deposited a check from an international corporation that banks with Bank of Nova Scotia that had an initial 5 day hold. At 5 days it was extended to 8 day hold and then to a 9th day. Customer support transferred me to a supervisor upon request who did nothing but quote me policy that makes no sense. Previous week i deposited a personal check exceeding a greater amount that cleared in 5 days in another institution. Last i checked it was criminal to borrow without permission and to withhold without cause.
