I was air lifted from Whitchurch to Stoke university hospital on 23rd July 2021 by Dr Ben Taylor. I cannot thank this service and the crew enough they saved my life following a boating injury to my right foot. Thank you Dr Ben and the amazing people behind the scenes the service you all offer is over whelming. You are and always will be my hero’s Thank you from the bottom of my heart xx I ran the London Marathon this year 2024 to give back to this wonderful charity we raised almost £4200 🚁🚁🚁
As a volunteer for the Midlands Air Ambulance, I guess I’m slightly biased . The new charity headquarters and air base is an absolute gem!
Fantastic facilities for crew and staff.
The charity operates 3 life saving air ambulances and the one is based at Cosford is pictured here . Also Critical care paramedic cars.
The charity operates several shops selling goods to help raise the 13 million pounds required each year, to run the services , and the money is raised by the public , not Government funded.
We visited today with our friends and what wonderful time we had . We had a guided tour and even saw two helicopters return from call outs. It's amazing place where groups can book in for courses on first aid etc.
We would like to thank you all for our day
