2 years agoI have never been so appalled by a charity! Recently lost my grandfather who supported the charity with a regular donation via direct debit. Called the charity today to notify them of his passing. Was faced with a very cold/rude reception by someone saying they assume the bank will just cancel the direct debit. No appreciation for the support from my grandad and the call conveniently dropped. Called back and spoke with "Samantha" on reception who was equally rude and unhelpful. I asked what my grandad had contributed to the charity out of interest and was told they don't have that information. Clearly not keeping accurate donor records which shows an utter lack of appreciation for the support they get. Advised samantha I would be contacting the fundraising regulator and was told "you do that". This charity clearly does not comply with the fundraising code of practice and I would suggest avoiding as they do not appreciate support.
