10 months agoI suggest making the process of changing last names more flexible in your software for customer service. We apologize for the mistake and can provide proof that it was not a ticket resale as suggested over the phone. This will prevent issues like the one I experienced when booking with my mother-in-law's married name instead of her maiden name, as indicated on her foreign passport. However, we cannot cancel the booking as the deadline has passed, and purchasing new tickets would be financially challenging for us. This booking is a surprise for my mother-in-law on the occasion of her husband's 60th birthday, and we do not want to ruin this special event for her and the rest of the family. There are ten adults leaving for this event. We have contacted Swiss to request a correction. However, changing just two letters in her name would not solve the problem as it is a significant error. We are in despair as we cannot find a solution to this problem, and the trip is scheduled for November. Swiss has informed us that she will not be able to fly with the current ticket, so we are desperate and distraught.
