Don't waste your money... There are many other flight schools better than this one in Switzerland, my personal experience was very bad, they do not help at all, there are many doubts and few answers. They also treat you like just another number, they charged me a lot more money than what the contract said, so be aware of the additional charges. But my worst experience was in the voice communication course, most of the instructors were good, but there was one very racist, no patience and no teaching skills, if he has no patience then he should not work there. The E-learning system is old, and the questions are quite repetitive, the database is completely different from FOCA and the teaching materials are poor, considering the amount of money you pay. Don't trust the good comments, most of those comments are from the employees that work there. Without a doubt, I do not recommend this school, do not get carried away by the good marketing, my recommendation is to search and compare very well before starting with your studies.

Despite of my clear and repetitive questions, I was wrong informed by the staff on the phone. And I had to change my whole plan after months. If you want to ask some questions, find the exact person who is definitely responsible.

It is not recommended at all that I spent four years with them and during this time I did not see efficiency and training. They try to teach you distance learning, and the student generally has to teach on his or her own. Every few months you only receive an email saying that your training is slow and you need to learn faster. They make a lot of money through distance learning and do their best to keep the student away. The learning system is very old and has not been updated at all. A bank has old questions that if you do not understand a question, you have to wait a long time for them to answer you and they usually answer the questions incompletely and incomprehensibly. So that I didn’t ask them any more questions. They don’t even have the simplest standard educational mode. I don’t know how there should be such a weak school in Switzerland at all. Eventually the student must look for work himself and he is abandoned. Horizon Swiss Flight is just a waste of time and money. Not recommended at all

140000 CHF / 200h flight time in your logbook = 700CHF/ hour. It is important to note that in Switzerland, the cost of obtaining a commercial license is expected to reach 1000 CHF per hour soon. Therefore, it is advisable to go the modular route and seek advice from FOCA (Federal Office of Civil Aviation) in Bern before pursuing a profession in aviation that may not have any job opportunities available. The aviation market is already saturated with rookie commercial pilots who have completed 200 hours of training but are struggling to find work. Flight schools are essentially businesses, and they may tell you anything to obtain your money. Once you have obtained your CPL, you may find that airlines require 1500 hours of flight time on a specific aircraft type, with at least 500 hours on a large jet in the last 12 months, before considering your application. Unless you are willing to pay more money, your career may end right after completing flight school. To become a pilot, it is advisable to let the airlines or schools pay for your training, which is unlikely to happen as they prefer candidates who can pay for their own training without any guarantee of a job offer or refund.

I am astonished about the too positiv comments here. Horizon SFA backoffice is a Club med that chills and is extremely uncoordinated. Long waiting times and a general disinterest to understand themselves as a service provider; ask the students, they will respond: as long as you don t have to deal with Horizon backoffice, all is good. The general impression after completion: as a student, you always feel like being a burden for that Back office. Furthermore, there is no transparency regarding the costs. It s like a bazar! Not sure if that s the perfect surrounding that gives one confidence and the required rest to study. If one considers them as an option, I warn them to accept being treated as a burden rather than a customer, this for 130k CHF!
