2 years agoOn display at the Lidl in Payerne on August 13. I find it particularly unfortunate that all the collaborators are sitting in the shade and showing no interest in the audience present. They do not take the trouble to inform or train the public interested in their stands. The relief chain will not evolve with this type of approach. Luckily the helicopter pilot is great and was very professional with our children.

3 years agoA warm family company that constantly strives to meet the requirements and adapts to the circumstances of the stakeholders with a clever mix of resources. It may be a thorn in the side for Rega patrons, but there has long been insurance for the rescue service from ambulances to airplanes that covers everything. It's not even expensive and it's valid worldwide. Air Zermatt, Air Glaciers, AAA, DRF Luftrettung, ARA Flugrettung and Rega are also taken into account. You can be lost in the shadows of the Himalayas or in Gaza and that's covered.

5 years agoI'm a Rega member and didn't even know that there was another company involved. An ambulance would have been enough, but then a helicopter came because it was "busy". I can't verify that, but if you read the newspaper reports about the AAA you'd want to. Now I have to shell out the bill of a good 2,700 CHF myself for the 12-minute flight - in which I boarded myself and was only given a standard infusion. I didn't order them, but another time I'll refuse to fly with them - if I still can. Rega can't do anything about it; politicians would have to intervene here. However, this will be my last year as a patron, as any profit-hungry institution can jump on a helicopter mission without me being informed of the costs in advance.

3 years agoWho wants the AAA rescue helicopter? The TCS should keep towing cars!!! You wouldn't call Rega if your car broke down. You also want someone experienced, i.e. Rega has been in use since 1952. Rega can pass on a mission. Then it doesn't cost us Rega patrons anything. It is important to always only call Rega on Tel. No. 1414, never over 144!! Even an ambulance should not call the rescue helicopter. When the operations center calls the helicopter, things can get really expensive. !!!ALWAYS ALERT ABOUT 1414!!!
