They are a pretty mediocre school to say the least, 800 year old planes, even worse simulators, incredibly bad management. I had a very, very outdated simulator hired for 260 EUROS AN HOUR (it is not even worth 50 in other places) to prepare for the airline tests that are done there, 2 hours after having the simulator they canceled it because it was broken according to They don't try to give solutions, they just send you to hell, ruining many of the chances you have to get on that airline, you call and they don't pick you up or if they do, they hang up on you while you're talking. As I said, a very mediocre school, if anyone is interested I would recommend European Flyers or Fly School. You are welcome.

There are better options in Spain if you want to do the integrated course. In Madrid, the options are limited, although there is one school that stands out if you are interested in the integrated one above Aerotec. If you decide to enroll in this school, here are some vital tips to ensure the best possible experience: Negotiate flight hours. The hours offered on their website are negotiable, and it is possible to get 10 or 20 additional hours, depending on the type of course you hire. It is essential to be firm in your position and not let yourself be convinced that this is not done or that it is only done depending on the number of payments (not at all). Divide the payments over as many months as they allow. VERY IMPORTANT: Negotiate your rights in the contract they propose to sign and demand clear clauses to leave school if you wish. Don't be impressed by the kindness of Mr. Quijano, no matter how good a salesman he is, or the sobriety of Ignacio Arribas. All agreements must be in writing. If it is not captured, it is as if it did not exist. If you were to abandon the course, always require a written document that specifies a settlement in your favor up to the last month paid. Any surplus must be refunded. VERY IMPORTANT2: Your flight hours and completion of the ATPL belong to you. However, if the school does not provide you with the corresponding documentation, your only option may be to go to court, since organizations such as AESA have no jurisdiction in this area. Protect your rights by demanding specific clauses in the contract so that they give you your flight hours or the completion of the ATPL as soon as you demand that it be certified and not have to negotiate or wait for something that you have already paid for and is yours Any cost adjustments due to changes in gasoline prices must be clearly detailed. Ask for concrete data on how much the price of oil must fluctuate to justify an increase. Do not accept vagueness in this regard. It is essential that you read the contract carefully. Consider reviewing the contract by a trusted lawyer, and if you do not have one, it is worth investing in a good professional so as not to be left unprotected when signing it. I hope that, if you decide to embark on this path at the aforementioned school, you do so with all the guarantees. These tips seek to ensure your investment in time and money, avoiding unnecessary losses and worries.

I started my ATPL course in English in October 2020, and as of today, July 14, I already have my license. A very serious school, with very marked times, they help you whenever you need anything in the theoretical subjects, and in the flights, the instructor who creates the programming and the flight leader are always helping and advising you. In my case, since the course is in English, for the Senasa exams, it is easier for you, as well as for the ICAO and radio operator tests, because the teachers (who are mostly pilots and good professionals) They teach classes in English. In flight, they have quite a few airplanes and you are normally flying at least 1-2 times a week, which helps you complete your flight hours in due time and so that you have your license in 24 months. In my case too, I opted for a scholarship they give you for the FI (instructor) course since I passed all my exams in less than 4 months. In general, I only have good words for this school, which at the end of the day shows that they are the oldest school in Spain.

After my training by obtaining the scholarship, I have had the possibility of quickly entering as an instructor at the school. I leave Aerotec with good memories in terms of quality of theoretical/practical teaching and atmosphere with colleagues. This experience has allowed me to find a job as a professional pilot in a difficult time in aviation.

We parents who pay their abusive fees (the busiest schools raise them with connivance) have to put up with how everything is done by plug. - I'll make you fly if... - I listen to you if... - I'll make you an instructor if... What's happening? That those looking for schools are beginning to avoid Cuatro Vientos. The large schools saturate the aerodrome with promotions that are not enough even though they already know that they are not going to comply with the 2-year contract. Don't be surprised that they are going to be formed outside of Madrid. Where is AESA? Enough is enough.
